LATEST NEWS!!!
Have some fun shows this week! Hope to see you out!
This past week’s shows were great. Wonderful 10 x 3 with a great crowd and performers. New Soft Shoe was supremely kick ass. Opener Ashley Brooke Toussant (www.ashleybrooketoussant.com/) sounded great, and even though we missed Al Moss due to a car issue, the guys in the New Soft Shoe were dead on. Very loyal and attentive crowd too! Friday was fun with Al Moss for the Defend Music (get rid of Admissions tax) Night at the Harp. Wow! A great turnout and Al was dialed in and chomping at the bit to play. Ended the week with a really fun gig with Chris Hanna at his brother’s new bar, The Cleveland Ale House. Played some great versions of my favorite tunes. Check out this place as the stage and sound is top notch, and wonderful people working there. Thanks everybody for the support!!!
I challenged Cleveland musicians to send in their music to Mayor Frank Jackson to raise awareness of Draft Ordinance 1492-11 which exempts live music at small music venues (700 capacity or less with music 3 times a week) from the city’s admission tax. The Cleveland Scene picked up on it, see the following link:

This week features the 10 x 3 at Brothers Concert Hall with 10 bands instead of solo performers. Going to try to do one of these every three months. It will be fun to have a bunch of new people to hear and play and great to hear some of the regular 10 x 3 performers crank it up for the band. Show starts at 8 and is always FREE!!!!
For anyone interested in performing at the 10 x 3,
we now have a slot request submission box at www.brentkirby.com on the 10 x 3 page
The Lost Fortunes are heading to WRUW 91.1FM on Saturday, Feb. 25th for the Americana Breakdown show. We will be playing live on the air from 12noon-1pm.
Going to play some newer tunes on that show. Please tune in!
Thanks for the continued support!
